America Saves Virtual Town Halls

America Saves, a nonprofit with a mission to encourage Americans to save money, reduce debt, build wealth, and create better financial habits, has recently announced a series of virtual #ThinkLikeASaver Town Halls on Facebook. These events will cover topics like:

  • Strategies to Help You Save – Thursday, Oct. 22 – Watch the recording here
  • How Do I Pay Off Debt – Thursday, Nov. 5 at 1 PM CST
  • Saving for Major Life Milestones – Thursday, Nov. 19 at 1 PM CST

You’ll hear from financial experts, influencers, and everyday people to share the best saving strategies. You can also join the #ThinkLikeASaver Facebook group where users share savings tips, reminders, and resources to help you stay on track.

              • Great! We think you might like one of our Share Certificates. You agree to leave your money untouched for a while in exchange for a higher interest rate.

              • Sounds good. Check out our Elite Checking account or Money Market account. These accounts are a little more flexible, but still get you a higher rate.

          • No worries. Once you open a Regular Savings account, you can open secondary accounts for whatever you need, including college, rainy day funds and more.
